Being display-minded, this project was among the closest to our heart. Getting the exciting opportunity to partner with McQueen’s, the world-renowned floral artistry company that recently created an outpost in NYC, was such a privilege, truly.  As they serve the floral needs of The Peninsula on a regular basis, we provided the creative direction and led the installation of the décor for the famed hotel’s annual Chinese New Year celebration.  To create the festive mood in the grand, traditional lobby,  acrylic lattice panels were fabricated and hung from the pilasters, adding architecture to the traditional space, providing a dramatic framework for the whimsical dragon emerging from the archway.  In the inner lobby, a luminous canopy of wisteria and Chinese lanterns enveloped the room, providing an immersive experience for the onlooker.
