ABC’s The View
Seasonal sets for live television
Since 2023, Josh has designed seasonal sets for ABC’s The View, transforming one of daytime television’s most recognizable studios for its holiday episodes. Working alongside the show’s production design team, each season starts with a concept presentation and ends as a live set built to read on camera, change over quickly and hold up to a full broadcast day.
Halloween 2023: The Haunted Mansion
An homage to the Disney classic in three scenes: Madam Leota’s séance room, a candlelit banquet hall and a moonlit cemetery for the show’s kids’ costume segment. As featured in PEOPLE.
Holiday 2024
[One line on the concept, if you’d like to include it.]
Holiday 2025: Central Park in Winter
A digital skating-rink scene across the studio’s LED wall, with overscaled, ornament-packed trees framing the Hot Topics table and a gingerbread-train concept for the “Hot Holiday Toys” segment.
Scenic design by Josh Minter in collaboration with the production design team of ABC’s The View.
